If you answered "yes" to this question, then realize exactly "what" you are saying! It's not faith that
is your struggle! You, my friend, are struggling with the Alimighty God Himself! You are wrestling with God, not your faith!
Oh, how foolish we are in our own wisdom to think, we (mere man) can question the living God of the universe? Questioning
the One who put this world together by His spoken word! The all powerful, Almighty God that has always been! The God who has
no beginning and no end! The God of all wisdom and might! The God, who's LOVE ENDURES forever!(funny thing, all this is recorded
in Genesis-called the "book of beginnings")
We need to understand that all faith issues are really issues of TRUST!
We really are a peculiar people! We will run to God for Salvation because we do not want to spend eternity in the pit, dancing
in the flames of Hell forever, but we question His faithfulness to us in our day to day living! Peculiar people or stupid?
We
will take the most valuable thing we have, life, and offer it to God for all Eternity but then argue with Him for the service
of just one day!! Our cry is, "Oh no God! Not that! I want to do this today or that today. I don't have time to do Your things
too." Or, our "faith issue" is, "God, I know what you are asking me to do, but can I TRUST you to do what You are saying to
me? How do I know for sure You will come thru for me?"
Where is our wisdom in this? We, who entrusted our eternal life
to Him, are now asking (trust issue) Him if He is dependable? Oh the irony of our wisdom! We are all so foolish! How can this
be? Could our 'faith issue', in truth be just our pride? Think about it!
Many Christians begin their walk without
ever coming to terms with the most important issues for a strong and powerful faith. They never decide if they are willing
or not to believe God's WORD in it's entirety! They only believe "in part" and question the rest! Think on this for a moment!
Have you ever reached a point in your Christain life where you made an all out committement to believe the Bible in whole?
Have you ever come to God and told Him, "Father, I know the Bible is Your written WORD, it is You speaking to me and even
if I do not understand all You say, I make the wilful choice to believe it all."
Our faith issues are trust issues!
Every one of them!
We must come to a point of putting our trust in the One who we have "entrusted our life" to. We
must come to believe the written WORD! God went to great lengths to put His Words in written form as a guidebook to all wisdom
and truth. The WORD of GOD is like a contract written up between two parties with legal and binding committements for both
parties. It is a contract agreement offered to us and signed by God Himself. He is trustworthy! He stands behind the contract
100%. No loop holes to entrap us. No hidden issues or agendas. No small print! He laid it all out for us in an open book for
our investigation before we signed it. We willingly put our name on the dotted line because we liked the "eternal benefits"
plan, but then we try to back out of the rest of the agreement or we question parts that call for our committement. We now
want to know, "if I do this God will you do that?"
If you are struggling with your faith, you are really and truly
struggling with your TRUST in God!
Question to ponder! If you can NOT trust God, who can you trust?
Make a decision
today to believe wholeheartedly (entire heart and soul) that "If God said it I BELIEVE IT"
Make it a settled issue
between you and GOD and I gurantee you all your 'faith issues' will suddenly disappear!
