YOU MUST BE IN RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!!!!!!!!!

Most people that give their life to christ learn how to become a Christian by the leadership of their Pastors. I believe that there comes a point in our walk with God that we must begin walking on our own. I'm not saying that our pastor does not play a role in your training. His role is irreplacable. What I'm saying is that you will slowly but surely lose interest in the things of God if you don't get involved for yourself. When my sister introduced me to my Husband ten years ago. Once she introduced us her job was over. If I had only spoke to Gary through my sister we would not be married today. We began spending time together. Talking on the phone, writing letters and it wasn't long before I loved him more than I could say. I fell in love with him because I had learned what he liked and disliked I learned the sound of his voice. The smell of his calogne. The more I learned of him the more I wanted to learn. That is how we need to be with God. I believe that God created Adam and Eve so that he could have relationship with them. God wanted a friendship. Many people think that God is above that. You can feel that way if you want to, But I know that God wants more out of me than just to admit he is soveregn. God wants us to do with him the same as we have done with our mate, our friends. He wants us to want to spend time with him. He wants us to call and talk to him about nothing. He wants us to lay in bed at night and think of just how wonderful a friend that we have in him.. How we enjoy to hear his voice in the middle of a crowded room, Or all alone in the car. God wants us to notice when he walks in the room by the smell of his presence. To be able to know what is special to him. God wants us to talk to him even about the small things that don't mean anything. I am a Mother of two Boys when they get older I want them to call me for no reason at all. I want them to come and see me because they love me. I want my sons to be a part of my life because they enjoy being with me, laughing and joking about the small things. I want them to come to me for help, advice and strength. I don't want my boys to come to me only when they need something. I believe that God has those same desires.

15)Hensforth I call you not servants, for the servant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my father I have made known unto you.

John 15:15

How can we go to war for someone that we don't know. How can you obey the masters voice when you don't know what it sounds like. We must be able to tell the difference between what God speaks and what the Devil speaks. We have to discern the spirits. We can only do that through having relationship with God and learning his voice. We will be attacked on everyside. The Devil will use whatever tactic he can to destroy you.

13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:13-14

14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15) But he that is spiritual discerneth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16) for who hath known the mond of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16

13) Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak : and he will shew you things to come.
