Luke 6:37
Judge not, and
ye shall not be judge:condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive and ye shall be forgiven.
Luke 17: 3,4
Take heed to yourselves:
If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent , forgive him.
And if he trespass against
thee seven times a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shall forgive him.
Life comes with many hard ships.
Satan knows that one of the easiest ways to get a seperation between us and God is unforgiveness. Satan will send people to
you just to cause you to harbor unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is like a wall it starts one brick at a time and eventually builds
up so high that you are completely seperated from the God that you love. Unforgiveness is like a cancer. When it gets in it
keeps building up and causing other problems in our lives. We become hard and unreachable not only to God but to those we
love. In this prayer God was telling us if we want to live a victorious life we must forgive.
Forgiveness is not a one time thing
it is a daily decision. I know that from personal experience. Just because you forgive someone doesn't mean that the devil
isn't going to remind you of that person or situation. You must forgive every time that you are confronted with thoughts of
that person or situation.
We need to pray for those that have
hurt us. We must lift them up and pray that God will work his will in their life and fulfill his calling through them.
Remember forgiveness is not a request it is a requirement
